STORE ITEM SIZE<\/h3>\nTip: Below is an example of an item with sizes. This page is created with the “Store Item Sizes” template.<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>\n

STORE ITEM SIZE TEMPLATE<\/h3>\n1. Navigate to “Store Item Sizes” under “Store Templates” in the sidebar<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>2. Click “+ Add template”<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>3. Enter a name for your template. Ensure you enter a name you can eassly identify when adding the template to your store cofiguration.<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>4. Click ” Save”<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>5. Click ” Edit Layout Design” on the template you just created<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>6. Click on the layout icon to get elements related to this template<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>7. Click and drag one of the card lists from under “Item Size Layouts” onto the blank canvas.<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>8. Add a button to add the selected item to the cart by clicking and dragging the “Add to order” button found under the “Buttons” tab.<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>9. Add a Cancel button to cancel the item selection by clicking and dragging the “Cancel” button found under the “Buttons” tab on to the canvas.<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>\n

ADD TEMPLATE TO STORE CONFIGURATION<\/h3>\n10. Navigate to “Stores” under “Menu configurations” in the sidebar.<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>11. Click edit (button with pencil) on the relevant store.<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>12. Click on the drop down under “Store has item size template” and select the template created above.<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>13. Click ” Save”<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>Tip: Note:<\/strong> This is a very basic design. You can add more functionality by adding more elements available in the design layout and customising each element on the canvas.<\/pee><\/pee>\n

CREATE SIZES<\/h3>\n14. Navigate to “Sizes” under “Menu configurations” in the sidebar<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>15. Click “+ Add size”<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>16. Enter the size name (Example “Small”)<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>17. Click “Save”<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>Tip: Repeat this for all the desired size options<\/pee><\/pee>\n

CREATE AN ITEM FOR EACH SIZE<\/h3>\nTip: In this example I create the below:<\/pee><\/p>\n
    <\/p>\n
  • Small Fries<\/li>\n

    <\/p>\n

  • Medium Fries<\/li>\n

    <\/p>\n

  • Large Fries<\/li>\n

    <\/ul>\n

    We will later create a “Fries” item that will have sizes that link to these individual items with sizes.<\/pee><\/pee>18. Navigate to “Items” under “Menu configurations” in the sidebar<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>19. Click “+ Add item”<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>Alert: We are creating the items for each size now. In this example I have used “Small Fries”. We will later create an item that will group these different sizes together.<\/strong><\/pee><\/pee>20. Ensure you name your item with the size name included in order to easily identify it.<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>21. Ensure you select “No” for “Item has sizes”<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>22. Continue filling out the rest of the form<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>23. Click “Save”<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>\n

    CREATE MAIN ITEM<\/h3>\n24. Click “+ Add Item”<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>Alert: We are now creating the item which will hold each items with sizes. In this example I have used “Fries” which will have each item we created earlier (Small Fries\/Medium Fries\/Large Fries)<\/pee><\/pee>25. Ensure you name your item with the size name included in order to easily identify it.<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>26. Select “Yes” for “Item has sizes”<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>27. Select dropdown under each desired size and select the item that was created for that size. (Example: Datapost Pizza Shop – Large Fries)<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>28. Repeat this for each desired size<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>29. Continue filling out the rest of the form<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>30. Click “Save”<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>\n

    ADD ITEM TO MENU<\/h3>\n31. Navigate to “Menus” under “Menu configurations” in the sidebar.<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>32. Click ” Edit” on the menu that you want to add the item to or you can click “Add Menu” to create a new one. (I am going to add my fries to my “Sides” menu)<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>33. Add the item to the “Menu has items” list.<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>34. Click “Save”<\/pee><\/pee>\"\"<\/pee>35.
