Overview – A layer is used to change the layout of a screen. Adding a side banner layer to a screen and changing layer properties.
Opening properties of existing layers
- Right click on the layer.
- Hover over the layer option.
- Select “Layer Properties”
Changing properties of existing layers
- Change the width of current layer to 80 so that I can add a side banner layer.
- Select Done
Adding a new layer
- Right click on the layer.
- Hover over the layout option.
- Select “New Layer”

- Right click on the layer.
- Hover over the layer option.
- Select “Layer Properties”
Setting properties for new layer
Fill in the layers properties:
- Layers Name .Ag. background, banner, main ….
- x coordinates
- y coordinates
- width
- height
- layer color
Now you can click Done.
