The media encoder is used to transcode media on the system between various media formats. The media encoder is only available to valid media items.
- Select which media you want to use as the source file for the encoding from the drop down list.
- The encoder profile field will determine what the output will be ( see encoder profiles).
The "TC IN" and "TC OUT" fields are used to mark an in point and out point on the source for the new file to use.
If these fields are left blank the system will use the entire file. Once you have filled in the form click on the encode button and the encode is placed into the process cue.
