Creating Dynamic XID Text

his guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to create dynamic XID text. Users can add location-based elements to XID templates with the Xmobi application to allow dynamic editing. This guide is essential for anyone looking to enhance their content editing capabilities, and modify text on the go

Step-by-step guide

1. Navigate to your nfinityX server and click on the Designer icon in the top right of the interface site.

2. Once you have logged into XID, click on the Interactive Designer.

3. Old and/or shared projects can be edited to work with the new network you've created, but let's do it from scratch today. Click on the 'New Project' button.

4. Add some Text.

5. Select the Text that you've just added to the canvas.

6. Click on the 'Element' tab on the right.

7. Click on the 'Text Type' drop-down. 'Default Text' will be selected by default.

8. Select 'Location Based'.

9. Now click on the 'Location Based' tab on the menu bar above the canvas.

10. Under the first dropdown, select the name of the relevant network that you created.

11. Now select the relevant province, region, town, suburb and branch from the respective drop-downs.

12. Click on the 'Add Location' button.

13. Ensure that the 'Edit Dynamic Values' is toggled on.

14. Click on your location to edit the XID project on the server. The changes can now also be made on the app. Always remember to save you XID project in the horizontal menu bar above the canvas.
